Hi Phil, Stunning to say the least!! I loved the vocal, which was outstanding, The BT which was excellent and great guitaring. I also loved your website, something I'm sadly lacking, but with a little help from my friend this may be sorted sooner rather than later.

Very good post altogether,
Cheers CC

Many thanks Brian, Spike, Lynn & Mikey for your comments it's much appreciated.
Lisa is very pleased that you like her recording.

Did a video to go with the song so you can put a face to the voice.
So here's hoping the video goes well..

Not only a beautiful voice but a beautiful lady too, if you don't mind me saying so.
Loved the video. Thanks for the posts, cheered me up a treat on a cold wet evening.

Man, I'm in bits here!!!!
The sound file was one thing, the video is quite another. Lovely work.
Still stunned by the recording actually - I think the clarity and beauty of that top E at 4.19 finally finished me off.
Pass the Kleenex!!!
cheers

Ian, you old softy you.

If it makes you feel any better I also shed a tear or two when I heard Lisa's performance. The life of Eva Cassidy had such a very tragic end at such a young age, and I think that was my main inspiration to do the BT, apart from her fabulous arrangement. I think Lisa's performance is in the same rank as Eva Cassidy, and leaves all the others way behind.

As someone who's no stranger to vid production your collab's very good indeed. The fade in & outs of the visual content is very complimentory and the production isn't thrown together but well thought out.

You've not fallen into the usual trap we find on here of a player gurning at the camera clutching a plank of wood with 6 strings attached.

Phil

What an absolutely beautiful rendition of “over the Rainbow” by your daughter in law - very Eva Cassidy-like, one of my favourite artists. We recently saw the Eva Cassidy Story at our local theatre , a very moving experience.

Best wishes for a musical future to you and Lisa, she could easily play the lead in the show with a voice like that! I’m going to put a copy on my IPOD if that’s ok, so I can listen to it in the future. Great BT and a very professional video as well

Cheers
