Bruce Welch of The Shadows tells in his book that Paul McCartney once played a piano version of “Here, There, & Everywhere” in Abbey Road, and proposed it for the Shadows. Paul promised to send them a cassette which never arrived... The tune was later used with added lyrics for the Beatles' Revolver album...
In Hank interviews, Hank says he was very glad to finally get to record it albeit over 40 years later !
