Theme from a summer place (video)

Postby Hank2k » 07 Sep 2014, 09:55

Morning all

Here is my latest video, this is theme from a summer place by Percy faith. The arrangement is the same as bruce welch shadows at shadowmania 2012 when I first heard this song

The backing track came from Ian McCutcheons Shadows workout 18 and the tabs courtesy of Phil McGarrick http://www.philmcgarrick.co.uk

Recorded using my Alan Brason Strat with my new tone rider vintage pickups into my meazzi factotum and my session acetone amp. Audio recorded in audacity and the audio and video mixed in sony Vegas pro.

Hope you enjoy

Thanks
Hank2k

Hi Steve,
Good to hear this one again - Bruce's arrangement at Shadowmania was excellent and inspired me to record it.
I like your version very much - first time I've heard it played with the Workout 18 backing track.
Great sound, playing and that meazzi sounds the business. Glad the Tabs came in useful.
Keep 'em coming Cheers Phil
