Think you need more echo, it's not particularly audible, even on the muted parts. Apart from that it sounds really nice.

Good sound and playing Rob, perhaps a slightly cleaner tone but that could be down to the recording/amp settings.

I thought both the tone and echo were spot on. Well played too! I think it's difficult to replicate the original version of this number but I think you've pretty much nailed it!

Well played. To my ears the tone was spot on as were the repeats on the muted section, but the melody needs slightly more "space", but that is only my opinion. I think it would be almost impossible to re-create the original totaly, but you have got pretty close well done.

Steve, thanks for your valid points regarding the echo.
As you can hear I used the original recording as a BT.
With the standard setting on the HCSE you would like to think it's a matching combination... ;)

Keith, Dave, Brian, thank you so much for your nice words regarding my sound and playing on this recording, really appreciated :)

I know this is a old post but its the first time i've heard it, i thought it was fantastic yeah in odd bits it needs work but listening to how close it is to the original you probably know the bits i refer to. If i could get that close sound wise i'd be a very happy chappy.

It's very good Tommy, but, I have probably owned and played through every EFTP machine that there was and not one of them ever seemed to nail the Apache echo and I have to say that I don't think the H&C does either, There is just something missing, that haunting reverb just isn't there, or is it reverb? or Halo? I don't know what it is.... I long since gave up trying to get the right sound for it....

Jeff
