Improvisation over loops

Found some Apple loops on my disk and experimented a bit by combining and varying them. Then I improvised a simple melody and an even simpler chord scheme. Hope it sounds not too confusing to your spoiled ears. I named the tune after a region on mars, because I'm reading science fiction.
