Hi,
Non ho l'eta was the winning song in the Eurovision Song Contest 1964 held in Copenhagen. It was performed by Gigliola Cinquetti representing Italy. My recording is a cover of The Danish Sharks version.

I like the pause at the start as you wait for the melody. Nicely judged.

If you are able to do it again, there's a couple of things I suggest. In the first verse when you go from C to Am, there is an F chord for a moment on the accompanying guitar, followed quickly by Am. I think Am from the off would be better, as happens later in the tune when the phrase comes up again. Also, to my ears, the chorus bit needs somehow to stand out more as a climax. I feel the lead guitar could be a bit louder against the backing all the way through but particularly in the chorus! It's almost asking to be double tracked there, or for a change of lead guitar tone. Something, not sure what.

Others may think differently and it's certainly a great song to render as an intro.

Many thanks for your comments. The backing is not made by me but I have just as you say recognised that it is a F chord just before the Am in the first verse but it does not disturb me so much.
Had as you say been better with Am directly as it is later in the tune. Maybe my guitar can be a little bit louder in some parts but I am not able to do it again.
