Well played sir!
Freddie King was primarily a blues singer/guitarist, but he released an LP of instrumental tunes around 1961..a commercial move as guitar instrumentals were popular at that time...as we all know! Shads, Ventures, Duane Eddy etc...he possibly made more money from sale of the LP than he was earning by being a blues artist..hopefully for him!
A few British blues players covered his tunes- as well as Peter Green's version of The Stumble, Eric Clapton did a version of Freddie's tune Hideaway on the John Mayall album, and I believe Mick Taylor later covered Drivin' Sideways..
I saw Freddie on a blues package tour in the '70's...he featured Hideway as part of his act..
