Great piece of work with a tune we rarely hear repeated. Couldn't tell it from the original and it proves that getting that sound is not just what you play, where you play it, what gear you use, but most important of all it's about HOW you play it !!
Cheers,
Ian

Hi Ian,

Your comment reminded me of a physics lecture I attended many years ago about "necessary and sufficient" conditions: many factors are usually necessary to achieve a certain outcome, but are not by themselves sufficient to achieve that outcome. Hence the need to have in place for all of those "necessary" things you mentioned in order to get close to the desired outcome of reproducing the original sounds of The Shadows.

Best Regards,

Paul.

I agree with Ian that is absolutely great in the sound and the way it is played. A lot of people keep jumping from one sort of kit to another but need to concentrate more on how it’s played.
Best Regards
John
