It should be noted that all the equipment used is not what you would normally choose for a very good Shads sound either. The amp is a Boss Katana head with 5 inch speaker, and a digital delay pedal. The guitar is a Classic Player Strat design by Fender Custom Shop and the pickups are new design 57/62 . Played live into a mobile phone camera.

I'd be interested to know what settings you have on the Katana. I'm forever tweaking mine but don't seemed to have nailed the tone yet.

Those are my Katana settings I use and these examples used the AC30 Burns Era sound from the 4 types in the file.

The idea was to get the Katana to sound more like an AC30 by using EQ

You will still need to change a few settings to get the final results I got

After selecting the patch, turn treble full up and presence. Turn compressor to about 2pm and you may find reducing mids slightly helps. Use your ears. There is a simple 360ms delay and Abbey Rd reverb as well shoukd you want to use them. Good luck.
