After recent experiments and discussion, heres something to back it up.
We ran the camcorder at our Thursday night gig and recorded a few tunes, here's Sleepwalk live by Past Masters last night, me using the S-500 through the Strymon Iridium straight into the desk, echoes from Zoom G5n.
