For a Brother - Tolo

Postby tolo » 20 Mar 2010, 12:30

A request from Gary to post this onto the new site...

With pleasure and thanks for asking,

Hope you still enjoy it!!

This is my stab at an original Lordan style instrumental trying to capture that beauty of the electric guitar and a Paramor style string arrangement in harmony...in tribute to my late brother Kevin.

Best,

Tony.

Gratified by the comments here - thank you...

This was an original tune - recorded here, so should you want a BT, Jimbo, I can do that by simply taking out the lead guitar track. The only proviso being that I would really like to hear or see your version of my brothers song!! Send me a PM if you agree... :o and it shall be done...

Best,

Tony.

Nels,

Thanks for that - now THAT would be simply wonderful to have him listen to this tune... I do not know how that could happen though unless he is a member of the site?

Otherwise - do you know where I could send it to him?

Thanks for taking the time to comment,

Best,

Tony.

Hi Tony, I would suggest you send a private email to David Martin and perhaps he could advise you which way to proceed.
Best of luck

Cheers

I saved this first time round because I was blown away by it. I think it would make a great movie theme (think classic western) and I said so at the time. I listen to it regularly and, coincidentally, I was listening to it yesterday.
I think it's great, a really professional sound.
