I also did the back track on this one as well. I emulated the big room reverb for the Mariachi brass band that came our pretty good :D
The whole mixed sounded a bit harsh and too up front, even before when it was converted into mp3 file. :(

Excellent version with great guitar tone and excellent backing track.

Can I ask how you made the BT and this recording?

Kind regards,
Martyn

Hi Martyn,
I do all the arrangement on my computer with Logic Audio sequencing software. The Brass section, strings, drums etc., come from a Roland keyboard. For recording the guitar I used Logic Audio recording software and hardware together ‘cause the price for the system was pretty affordable.
I really don’t remember what I used for the echo effect on this song, it was probably a stereo delay on the Logic Audio because it didn’t sound like tape echo. I’ve got old tape echo machines and delay box piling all over my room, most of them don’t work :))

Hi Chai
That's a great Geronimo. I liked seeing you play live too in the other video but as you said unfortunately the sound quality had a few problems. However this recording sounds fantastic.
All the best

HI Chai
I've only been learning for about a year and am still very much at beginner level but have some older videos on my website at:
http://www.rosemaryinaustralia.com/new_ ... tml#videos
and my most recent recording is of Peace Pipe
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4637

The videos will hopefully improve in time but in the meantime every week something gets a bit easier :)

How often do you play live? It would be great to see some more of your videos.
Best wishes
Rosemary

Hi Rosemary,
Your playing is very smooth and fluid for a year player, very surprising indeed.
Do you play other instruments other than guitar?
Keep up your nice work :))

Hi Rosemary,
We don't get to play often as we wanted; gigs are few and far between. My band and few other bands have been doing some charity gigs to help out with old band players, whom are ill and can't make their hospital bills. We’ve done 3 of those so far with 3 more coming up this month and next.
I’ve got some of my video on Youtube, posting under either Chai Komlertkul or Thaiwithattitude.

Cheers Martin,
The very first time I ever saw a "Burns" guitar was very much like that green on you have on your profile photo.
It was at "The Honey Combes" concert here in Bangkok. I saw many photos of The Shads with Burns, but that was my first time hearing it (with a Binson echorec) live. 'was fantastic!!
