Rare norwegian oldtimer

Postby Fredrik Martinsen » 19 Jun 2011, 21:04

The Cliftones has been in studio this weekend and recorded a proper norwegian oldtimer: "De Naere Ting". (I don’t have a good english translation yet, sorry...).

The song is originally a poem, but was recorded in 1951 by the norwegian radiophantoms Kurt Foss and Reidar Boe. The melody has been a norwegian evergreen since. A 60 years recordingcelebration was therefore at its place! (The Quivers – also from Norway, did a similar instrumental version in 1962).

Hope You all have a good pleasure! :)
