Please Please Me (The Beatles)

Postby Minishadow » 30 Sep 2011, 21:34

Hey guys!

Here's a little something I done this afternoon. This is one of my favourite tunes by the Beatles so I thought it'd be good to do it in the style of Hank Marvin. I created this backing track so everything in this video is 100% my own work (apart from the actual song, obviously).

On the track, you will hear:

1. Drums (5 Piece Set)
2. Bass Guitar
3. Rhythm Guitar
4. Lead Guitar #1 (In the original version of Please Please Me)
5. Harmonica
6. Lead Guitar #2 (Overwriting Paul McCartney's vocals in a Jazz tone)
7. Lead Guitar #3 (Overwriting Lennon's vocals in the Hank Marvin tone - Which I am playing on the video)

Anyway, I'll let you watch it and please comment! I would love to know what you think! :)

Hello Robson!
It is refreshing also young people trying to keep this style of music alive - and you do it really well. - Your sound and playing is very enjoyable.
Thanks Mini Shadow Robson! Hope to hear some more from you soon.

I like this idea.

OK, some of the tracks go out of time and there's the occasional unconvincing chord, but you have captured the energy and spirit of PPM very well. Great selection of guitar tones too.

I look forward to hearing more!
