Wonderful Land - Live

Postby BrianD » 29 Nov 2011, 16:58

Following on from my Apache Live posting here is a link to Wonderful Land which we played imediately after Apache - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bADmJdk-SI8
As you will see this now features footage from 4 cameras. I am still waiting for the tapes from the fifth camera and hope that will add a further dimension. For those interested in video editing I produced this in Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 and found the multi-camera editing facility very easy to use and effective :D

The camera mounted on the head of Naomi's bass is a GoPro. Check out http://gopro.com/products/?gclid=CN-T-u ... fAodrV4fTw

I hope you like it.

Hi Brian

Great sound and video shame about being the final gig I remember doing the same about two years ago strange feeling !!

Also being a confirmed Cornford fan I have owned and gigged a Harliquin ( in small bars ) to backing tracks for the last three years and as you well know the sound is spot on great Vox sound ,but what model is the amp ? is it the Hellcat combo or the Roadhouse ?

Regards Nigel :)

Nigel,

Thanks for the message. The Cornford is a Roadhouse 30 head with the 2 x 12 Cornford cabinet. I also have a Blackstar Artisan 30 2 x 12 combo which has an equally great sound but is too heavy to lug up and down stairs - hence the purchase of the head and cabinet. Yes I am very pleased with the sound - it is equally at home playing clean, with just a hint of break-up, as demonstrated on these Shads tracks or overdriven by the Les Paul when playing blues and rock. I will probably next edit and post one of our non Shads tracks as an example.

Thanks, Geoff. I have now been sent the material from the fifth camera together with additional audio so will be setting to to edit the whole concert. As only one camera was on throughout the concert - this fifth camera, and even that had to be turned off briefly to change tapes, it is quite a challenge synching up all the media, so it may be a few weeks before I post the next examples and the re-editted versions of Apache and Wonderful Land.
