Hi Peter,
Can't access the file - says it's unavailable to me.
I have an account with Box so something's amiss.

Hi Peter.
It plays back fine Peter and its a very nice Strat sound. Lots of echo and clean. Good one.
Regards Geoff.

Hi Peter, Great playing, the Burns sound is there, but doesn't give that 'chime/quack' strat tone that i prefer (you probably fancied doing it in your own style) as I've heard you getting 'The Sound' on other tunes. Regards Keith

Thanks for comments Keith, I do tend to do things in my own way rather than attempting to get 'that sound'.
I am quite new to his recording mallarkey and have been trying various methods, I've redone Kontiki in a different way, have a listen here http://www.box.com/s/f77fab8ef6b4c87ff592 and let me know what you think

Take care

Hi Peter, To my ears/likes much better, it seems to have more 'bite' were the 1st recording was 'smooth', considering you have only just started home recording it sounds great, what was the set-up ?

Hi Keith,
The set up for the first recording was Burns Shadows Custom into a Quad GT then Behringer V-amp straight into a Boss mini studio, the second was the same guitar and echo into a little Vox AD15 and into the Boss via a Mic. I have been trying for some time to record from an amp via a mic but have had difficulty getting rid of background noise, I think I have found out how to do that now so my next recording will be through my Pinnacle, I will be interested to see how that turns out.

Thanks for listening and your comments

Take care
