Sea Cruise

From what I've heard this number went down well on the current tour so as it's one of the great Rock'n'Roll classics I thought that I'd have a try at an instrumental version.

I've pretty much kept to the original arrangement and couldn't resist including a similar intro.

I'm not sure how well it works but I hope that you like it.

Hi Roger

Must confess, I didn't expect this to work as an instrumental. :?

BUT IT DOES!!!! Really enjoyed it. :P

One very minor point, I would have liked to have heard the ship's bell at relevant points during the tune (as played during the tour) but it is a good production as it stands.

Loved that Roger.
Will you be making that available as a Tab & backing track?

If so, count me in.
All the best. Ian

Hi Roger

Well done. I enjoyed your version of that song of which I have only heard the Cliff Richard vocal version before. You played it well I thought. I like the sound effects too.

I'd say it works well too. I've always liked the original Franky Ford version and this stays true to that.
Sure are a lotta great players here.

Glad to hear that you liked it and that it does work as an instrumental.

Dave - I didn't see the tour so I thought that I'd stick to the original arrangement.

Hi Roger,
This is great - sorry I'm late in replying. Have to say it's a very lively performance - love the water bell and Horn sounds at the beginning.
I reckon this is how Hank would do a recording of this number - the guitar tone is perfect for the track - playing in the different pitch ranges makes it very entertaining. A superb backing, like the brass - really a very full sound - guess where I've saved it. !!

Cheers Phil

Good Fun Roger!!
Great sounding track all round. I have heard both versions (FF and Cliff) and like them BOTH.
Works well as an Instro and the changes keep it all interesting.
Er - can I assume that Santa might be bringing that BT (and others) in time for Christmas?
cheers
