"Take It to the Limit" is a song by the Eagles from their fourth album, One of These Nights, written by Randy Meisner, Don Henley and Glenn Frey. The third single from the album, it was released on November 15, 1975

This is my own instrumental arrangement suggested by my friend John Skelton.
I used a Carl Martin “Plexi Tone” to give the guitar a bit of edge as well as my Alesis Quadraverb Q2 patch 0-36

Sound recorded in Cubase direct (no amp)
Video made using 3x Sony SR12 camcorders and edited in Sony Vegas.

Strong playing and great sound - I can hear the words in your "picking".
I know what you mean about not playing. Since the "burns" incident I have lost the motivation a bit, although I have three SFs part done. It'll come back.

The Plexi Tone is quite different from my Boss SD-1 as long as you don't wind it up too much !
It was so hot today so DIY and gardening fell second place to guitar playing.

Hoping to do a duet with son Andrew for my next one - a Hank special that took lots of practice.
