65' jazz split sound

Hi everybody! I m from France (Normandie) . I discovered old burns guitars through a jazz short scale guitar during 90's...wonderful...But not fender or gibson printed !!! Lol.
Then time went by and regrets and curiosity with it, so i decided to buy a real good old Burns again and felt in love in a 65' Baldwin/Burns jazz split sound guitar !!! Really an amazing guitar.
I just re discovered it and it s particular circuit.
I d like to know a bit more about it? Shematic ? I d like to add a little more bass to wild do and treble position, have someone an idea?

Try not to make any changes as this will devalue the guitar - I have never seen a white one before. The settings you have really make the guitar special. I think you should make adjustments through effects/amplifier

Thanks , i know you re right. I was just thinking about a capacitor maybe 0.047 instead of 0.022uF ? Not a big mod ( i refuse to do that), but something discret and totally removable. Jazz position in 100x better than all the us strats i have had!! I love the treble and wild dog positions, just miss a bit of bass to complete the equation.
But i respect my old lady ... She was here before i was even born!!

Try adjusting the amp first before re-wiring or modifying the guitar!

Cut treble on amp and boost middle as well as bass

I have tried that and the sound is better, but i wanted to atenuate volume/level differences between the positions. Treble and wild dog sound great but too trebly .

Is it possible to adjust the height of each pickup? You could raise the middle and bridge and/or lower the neck unit?

If not, might be best to accept the individual sound of the guitar just as it is- I think those '60's Burns models had very complex wiring (I had a Vibra Artiste years ago), and it would be a pity to accidentally muck up the circuit just trying to make it sound like any other guitar.

It is what it is- and I liked your sound and playing!- sounded to me sort of like 'Django tries some rock'n'roll'- must be the French influence!
You ahve an individual style and an very individual guitar to play it with!
