Burns GB 66

Postby JohnUK » 08 Dec 2014, 18:06

Hi

I've had this GB66 since the mid 70s and although it has 'sentimental' value, it's really not getting any use these days.

It's never had the original bridge piece while I have had it and two of the original dials are missing, apart from that it's, as far as I am aware, as original.

I'm not after trying to make a quick-buck out of it, just want to make sure it goes to a good home for a reasonable amount.

Any suggestions guys?

Thanks
John

John,

As you probably already know, the GB66, whilst a fine all-purpose gigging guitar with many Burns features, is not particularly sought after on the collector's market and doesn't have the artist associations to be really popular here.

I suggest you'll need to test the water by putting your guitar up on eBay, though you could always check for what similar guitars have gone for in completed auctions.
