Given how unreasonably heavy double sixes are, god knows what this must weigh. 16 pounds?

Indeed- I bought a twin neck 6/12 some time ago, was going to use it in my band for gigs, but after trying it out at a band rehearsal, it had to go- very heavy to play standing up, and not much better when sitting down! The strain on the shoulders and neck from the strap was rough next day too for an old bloke!

Also, although the one I had was partially hollow bodied, the thing was also unbalanced- 18 Grover type machine heads made it neck heavy!

I had the Gibson and found that too heavy. Only ever needed it for one or two numbers. Lugging around was a pain especially with the big case. Nice if you have the money and a Roadie !
