The Chinese Burns pick ups both bass and guitar have been designed and built specifically for Burns guitars by Alan Entwistle who goes to great lengths to ensure accuracy to originals.

Hi Bill,

That's all interesting....while many moons ago a statement of Barry was kinda "we voiced the new (China) Marvin's more like a strat to please a more wide audience in the market).
About the shadow bass pu's and they had to fit into the covers and not to expensive "came out the horse mouth" witnessed by several peeps at a certain Dutch shad meeting while they share a drink or two in the bar....
