This is not a new problem, John Rostill faced it with his Burns bass. It even inspired him to write I Wish I Could Shim It Like My Sister Arthur :mrgreen:

Hi Jim, yeah just lifted the entire neck keeping it parallel. seems to have worked great.

Glad the shim worked as predicted!
Nice to know the heavy last resort of shaving off the bottom of the saddles wasn't needed.
But when you asked for all options, I decided to also include the heavy one...
