The Queens Of The Stone Age played on Jools Holland this evening and one of them, not the drummer, played a Double Six.

Yes, one of an interesting selection of instruments. Any clues as to the orange guitar played by Josh Homme, with the Gretsch-styled headstock?

The guitar Josh was playing is a BelAire by Motor Ave guitars. (he has like 3 or 4 of them that he tours with)

http://www.motorave.com/

And the guy who played the Double Six is Troy Van Leeuwen, their second guitarist. And he'll use that guitar on this songs: My God is the Sun and I Appear Missing (I'm pretty sure he also plays it on ...Like Clockwork, the title track from the album of which all those other listed songs are on). I believe the same double six was played on the track (and live a few times) Another Love Song (off the Songs for the Deaf album).

-My fav band is Queens so feel free to ask any gear related questions about them.
