For those interested, Andertons are advertising an 'Epic Deal' on the Roland Blues Cube Artist combo with 30% discount. I already have one of these & can confirm it is a very nice amp that has all the sounds of a good valve combo without a real valve in sight, so would be a rather more reliable amp with Roland's good quality. It is reduced from £739 to £499. It has lots of nice features & is 80w with a 12" speaker.

Wow, just checked the website again,& they have already sold out ! They are now recommending the Boss Katana Artist as a substitute. All from the same stable. There is a Blues Cube Stage model at 40w.
