Hello,
Bought a secondhand AC 30 CC 2 and find NOT the right adjustment to obtain
the old VOX sound of the sixties. VOX speakers inside.
Someone withe experience to help me ?
Many THX

Hi Assume this model has the Vox Wharfdale speakers as opposed to the upgraded Celestions on the X model?
Certainly enough tonal control for Top Boost sounds post 63 I would assume, like the AC15 CC 1 with a Celestion
Blue Speaker. Early That Sound on the normal channel can be pretty much hit or miss, as I had a 70s AC30 which
did not sound that great on normal channel.
Maybe someone else can elaborate further for you?
Mike

An eq pedal is an easy way get that sound consistently. A lot depends on the echo unit you are using. Some have built in bass roll off etc and changes the dynamics of the amp significantly
