Following recommendations, I bought a pair of Xenta Wireless Headphones for my studio about 10 years ago. Not for balancing sound, but good for giving to vocalists and instrumentalists who get tangled up with wires when overdubbing.
They are still on the market and not very expensive, which indicates that they are a reasonable product.
