Refining That Sound

I think by now it's generally accepted that if you want to really nail "that sound" as closely as possible, you really need to invest in the right gear (Vox; TVS3 etc). Just make sure you install them correctly - I notice they have an arrow on them, so presumably they won't work if installed the wrong way 'round


Still, at least now I finally know the real reason why I don't sound like Hank when I play

Edit - Just read the following on the add: "Please note: fuses are directional, so please ensure you install your fuse accordingly. If you are not sure on the correct direction, simply try it both ways- you will be able to hear the difference."

It gets worse. It seems you can also buy an aftermarket mains lead for, wait for it.........£ 17,070.00 . https://www.futureshop.co.uk/nordost-odin-2-uk-mains-power-cable. Mind you, that's for the short lead. Longer ones are available at a (much!) higher price. All of a sudden, that fuse doesn't seem so expensive
