eTAP2 Compatibility Issue

Postby demowest » 17 May 2010, 13:19

I'm using the excellent eTAP2. Thanks to Piet and Jacob for providing it to the Shadows community for free.

I do have some compatibility issues though between eTAP2 and Line 6 POD Farm 2 Dual Channel in Reaper and in Studio One. In the latter eTAP2 works perfectly as a track plug-in together with Line 6 POD Farm 2, but fails as a bus plug-in if eTAP2 and Line 6 POD Farm 2 Dual Channel are being used in the bus. The symptom is essentially that only one channel of the POD Farm contains the dry and wet echoes whereas the second channel consists only of the echo. This wouldn't be too much of a problem if Studio One's busses could be switched to mono, but they can't. In other words - they're always in stereo mode.

Reaper shows the very same symptom except that Reaper doesn't have a bus concept and the probelm occurs if eTAP2 and Line 6 POD Farm 2 Dual Channel are being used together in any track.

Does anybody have a solution for this problem?

Thank you.
