Roland RE-301 Chorus Echo

Hi
Does anyone have any experience with these. I have a Mesa Boogie Express 5:25 Plus. Should I connect the Roland to the input or in the effects loop ?

I prefer the effects loop on my Boogie Mk.II for delay (and reverb, volume pedal and chorus), because it sounds clearer to me. I use an active signal splitter in the loop (Nobels SPX-31). The pure delay will be added to the amp signal after the preamp stage. Otherwise the guitar signal would be mixed (and impaired) within the echo machine circuit.

I never had a Roland-Echo, but I used a virtual RE-201 in my GuitarRig Software (even two of them parallel):

Hi nivramarvim,thanks for posting that,it's a really nice sound file and I like the muted section..It's very much like the 201,I'm curious to know what results other folks have gotten from the 301,regards Gary
