Any authentic VST available for use in my PC, I know about echotapper, but haven't a clue how to install a VST/ Any tips please, and how do I play it with my keyboard or guitar is my difficulty in making it happen.

Wot's a PSP608 ? Ecca
I was watching your youtube clip the other day of Frightened City learner and was blown away with your accuracy in the clip, and sound too :)
Have you done same on Man of Mystery for us ? that is another tricky one.

Do a search on PSP 608 Twangy, you'll see it, it's an excellent VST for Shads echoes.
PM me when you have.
I didn't do Frightened City, it was the Savage.
The sound was the Shads themselves, it's all a bit controversial.
I did the demo some years back by request here on the Shads site purely as visual display of how I played the solo.
I couldn't care less about the sound.
When it got up on youtube everybody was kicking my arse and telling me what a cheat I was when, in fact It wasn't me that put it up
it was my mate Amarandadadadadadadadadada with the best intentions in the world.
Had I played the solo, which is perfectly straightforward, (I learned it when the record came out and I've been playing it the same way for the last 40odd years. )
some bugger would have said I wasn't playing it right.
Cheers

I've seen/heard Ecca do The Savage live and listened to the shads original till I'm sick of it(learning it myself) the playing/timing note for note is pretty spot on ,come to the hankies and see it live !!.( Some have intimated he doesn't use enough trem or dirt channel !!)

Look at the PSP 608 Twangy, Echotapper have enabled loads of Meazzi patches for it as indeed for their own echo VST.

I would prefer the eTAP2 module as it's with all required artifacts you would not find in the PSP product. The reason we've developed eTAP2 was based on that inability. I would never develop something without added value!! As an example, tape characteristics are not available from the PSP module including W&F being key to our music. The tube simulation in the PSP module is distortion henc odd&even harmonics you would not like to have in our music. BTW >12000 downloads....I could retire now

-Piet ;)

p.s. if your PC set-up is not capable supporting eTAP then PSP would be an acceptable sollution if you add W&F as a basic requirement.
