There are several different sorts of SG model, and they usually sound different from each other. The basic types are:

(a) two (sometimes three) humbuckers (Standard/Custom, modern "Specials")
(b) two P90s (the original "Special" and the modern "Classic")
(c) one P90 (the Junior).

What sort of 60s sound do you want?

Name a player or two, or perhaps a record or two...
