Hi,

"If you want a steel trem block made for a strat, this person is the man:

Tell him what guitar you have and the string spacing and he will make you one".

It's funny you should say that Amanda. :D

I've posted the same question on the "Fender Forum" and they've come back with the same answer. The taper gives it more operating space.

I'll let you know if there's any tone benefits. I know for a fact there will be non wobbly tremolo arm benefits and that in itself is worth the effort.
