Hi Dave
You connect G1XON to computer then open tonelib.
I am just going on to mine to check as I haven't used the programme in quite a while. Will let you know if you need to do anything else

I am a little confused as it's asking me to create an account and I don't want one, I just want to use the software with my device.

Plug in the zoom and then open the Tone Lib programme. It doesn’t seem to work if you retry when connection has failed. You need to restart the process again.
Hope this helps
Take care

Thanks Pete I'll give it a go. :)

Can you tell me if the computer is supposed to recognise my G1Xon and it's contents ? At the moment it doesn't and I've also been presented with a demand for money to purchase a licence, which I don't want either. :|

Just check you have installed the correct program ‘ToneLib Zoom’ and not ToneLib GFX or ToneLib Jam. Those are different ToneLib Apps that are Paid for.

I'm hoping that these patches will be available tonight, still a few teething glitches computer wise.
The thing is if you are a bedroom player on a low budget this little unit and the newer G1 Four will do a great job.
If you have a little bit more money at your disposal I would definitely recommend the Zoom G3XN because it is slightly larger and the pedal is easier to use and this machine will give you 90% reasonable Shadows & Hank echoes.
Also with my experience of the Boss Katana, I reckon that their GT-100 is a good bet if you know how to do it.
However I do stress that for perfection, nothing less than a Meazzi or TVS3 will do, although the Atlantis is a very good machine and I'll get you close, if you can find one. ;)
