Whatever you do, don't pick your nose with them. Could be a nasty accident.

Nah.... filing the nails don't work, they're just as weak as ever.
I've tried everything and have just ordered some clear epoxy resin, I'll go the industrial route.

GLUED ON NAILS
Well I bit the bullet, cut, bent and glued a thumb nail and first finger nail on as per instructions using the supplied super glue.
Every time I scratched my nose I fetched my eye out for starters, they were too long.
After I'd trimmed them I tried playing with them but it felt so alien, I'm used to playing with the ball ends of my digits.
The final straw was when I put my hand in my pocket and the thumb nail fled off out the car window and into eternity.
Enough.
I carefully removed the remaining finger nail and have now reverted to playing with the balls again.
Cheers

I always wanted to be able to do this wearing thumb and finger picks. I even wore the damn things round the house all day for a few weeks to try to get used to them - and failed miserably. I eventually gave up and the picks are confined to an old coffee jar in the corner of a cupboard.

Brilliant.
I just can't get with any sort of finger picks.
Let's see what these Alaska things do.

I bought the plastic ones.... but when I saw em I realised I'd already got 6 or 7 brass ones that Brian Robinson had sent me .
I'll bring em tomorrow.
