Hi Mike,
Good to hear you are pleased with the new Casino. I have just tried mine with an amp today. My brother (Bass player) comes here every Friday for a jam with me. I am pleased with the variety of sounds you can get from it. It's not just a jangle machine, as I once feared, but reacts well to higher gain situations too, & doesn't feedback unless you set the gain too high & point the guitar at the speaker. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was that I didn't realise it has a 12" radius fingerboard, & that is a little too flat for my liking. Although I guess I will get used to it. I have been brought up on 7.25" & 9" radiuses (radii ?) & prefer a bit of camber.
I see that Epi are also making an ES339 with P90s, & one with humbuckers too. They both have the Tunamatic bridge & stoptail, as opposed to the Coupe Trapeze. There is also a very nice Riviera model with 3 x P90s & a Gold finish Bigsby, but this is a full-sized body.

Tony.

Hi Tony
Fortunately the Casino neck suits my small (ish) hands whereas I find the one on my Epi ĹP Traditional Plus Top Pro (could there be a guitar with a longer name?) a bit on the awkward side but I'm getting used to it. I was going to sell it but I've decided to persevere as it's a good example of an Epi Les Paul. The Strat neck feels super slim by comparison :D

Hi All,
Just to update on the tuning problems i was having with my es-295. Since JimN and Alan recommended changing my strings to 12 gauge about a month ago, due to this guitar having a floating bridge, (which i did), I can honestly say my tuning problems have now vanished. I haven't bothered to change the bridge to a rolling bridge, which i was considering, as there hasn't been any need for it.
I was considering (regrettably) getting rid of this guitar, as it was driving me mad  . I wouldn't have thought such a subtle change, would have made such a difference. I am now definitely keeping it and gonna enjoy catching up on some of the playing i originally brought it for.
Cheers for all the very helpful advice that has been given, and also to anyone else who has given me info about this guitar.
Ryan

That's good to hear, Ryan. I'm glad to hear of another victory for medium gauge strings!
