its nice to know that people can rally round at a time like this.it seems that oasis and the police where on the ball with this theft,although and i keep going on about my strat,i had none of this type of investigation when the buisness post van went missing,all i got was an apolygie from the shop and an insurance payout of £1000 (the guitar cost £2999) and i had to fight for that other wise it would have been £90,the weight of the package.
The insurance company had incorrectly insured the instrument under house contents rather than personal belongings and then told me it was ok to send back to the shop.
but still,good progress by all.

For those who are still interested to know Fender have delivered 16 again, by hand, to me.
It is a shame it wasn't in time for Shadowmania but it is here and shortly it will be in it's new home.
Fedex never backed down or paid up. Another company now has my business.

Yes, there are two number 16's but each is identifiable...

My understanding is that the Police have identified the person who they believe stole the guitar, but belief is not proof. The whereabouts of the guitar has not been established...
