Hi all, There are several 1964 (all 100% original in excelent condition) Strats for sale in Feb 2010 Vintage Guitar magazine U.S.A. They go for anything from US $ 20,000. to $28,000. for a sunburst to $30,000 to $35,000 for a custom colour. If your lucky enough to own one, look after it as the price will only go up.
Regards G eoff.

Looking closely at the photos, it looks to me as though this has been re-painted at some stage, and I think that I can see brush marks in places, so a hand re-paint NOT a re-spray. Anyone agree?

Maybe I'm getting old and cynical but i was always told an old guitar is only in immaculate condition for two reasons;
1. Its been very carefully looked after

2 its never been gigged and is a pig to play.

Nobody seems to have mentioned that the other 2 guitars he has for sale are are apparently even older - 1950's?!! All a bit too strange for me....
