It may sound obvious, but have you tried to enter your G2 patches manually?
Alternatively, I can let you have a copy of Dave's patches, which can be loaded directly into your G3.

Hi Pat, thanks for that yes I've tried to load them manually without success so I would really appreciate it if you could send me a copy of Dave's patches.

Just in case you have tried to resend those patches I wanted to let you know that there has been a problem with my emails over the weekend so I haven't received anything yet. This should be resolved today and I'll let you know if/when they arrive.
