My BluNeb should be here soon and would like a vg Rev pedal, I don't want to use the reverb on my spare Etap Eccamatic 2 valve, your advice would be appreciated , thanks.

What would be your intended purpose for the Abbey Road reverb?

Live performance or recording?

Pedals are not really the best way to get a good, studio-quality, reverb.

Sure, you can get reverb in a pedal, though they mainly tend to mimic the Fender spring reverb sound (which is no bad thing in itself).

The Abbey Road reverb is best heard in stereo (which rules out a pedal into a guitar amp). What you really need is a unit with mono-in, stereo-out, fed through a mixer, for the full Abbey Road lush effect.

Thanks Jim , basic home recording (mic'd amp) or Hankies nights, I used to have a fender 63 reissue tube reverb but hardly used it. I'm moving home soon so can't do too many studio additions, cheers Keith

Definitely a rack-type unit.

Seek a used Alesis Microverb or Nanoverb on eBay (where they go for next to nowt).

The easiest way to record would be to run you amp's mike into the Alesis, then use stereo-out onto two tracks for a warm, "involved" signal.

Keeley Abbey Road Chamber Reverb is the one I have and like. Has the EQ applied to the reverb like Abbey Road did and freq switchable (3 Frequencies).
