Not had them myself but looking at the DC resistance they look like they will be fine for Shadows sounds. Not to different in DC resistance to the CS54's by Fender. They look like they have heavy chamfering on pole pieces which is similar to the CS57/62's by Fender. Alnico V as well. Lots of buyers seem positive about them !
Sod it I bought some at that price !

Can't comment specifically on these pickups, but have bought other parts fromm that supplier and they worked fine. Reading the spec, I expect the pickups to sound just right in a Strat; the overwound bridge pickup will prevent the 'ice-pickiness' one sometimes gets.
My experience with Ironstone pickups, I have to say, was less happy.

These arrived yesterday and were well wrapped and delivered quickly. I have not installed them yet. I checked the DC resistance and the Neck was a bit more than 56K and the middle about 58K. The bridge was a little over 6.1 K. They seem well made and have chamfered poles reminiscent of the CS 57/62's.
They also sell a hotter set of 60's PU's around 6.1k Neck/Middle and 6.8k bridge for info. Same price. Look in sellers shop.
On the subject of Ironstone PU's they are quite good as I have heard others using them for Shadows sounds.

Hi all,I purchased a set of 59 VINTAGE ALNICO V in White this week to put in my MIM modern player strat but ended up fitting them in my AMERICAN SPECIAL strat. They are great and IMHO sound better than the TEXAS SPECIALS I took out.Hope this is helpful. Cheers Phil.
