Check out the new Vox amps for this year. One of the more interesting ones is the MV50 head. 50w & comes in three models of amp type & ....... only weighs 1.1 lbs ! Good for us old fellas.

I would guess these new HW ac15/30s are much the same as previous Chinese issues
in terms of specifications at least?
Certainly a lot more expensive, and why put the AC15 in a modern cabinet rather than
a 50s type, if it is a 60th anniversary model?
Never mind, if we all order one we have at last cracked That Sound!!!! and the Bank Overdraft

I understand the anniversary HW models are made in the UK, Jim. Reviews say they may be the last to be manufactured there.
It seems the early AC15s used a G12 with a Muller H1777 cone, painted tan initially then blue (1960-64), then silver. Vox installed G12 with the Muller come in the AC15 HW 60. It should perhaps have been painted tan.

Surprisingly there was a brand new AC30 HW60 at the dealers’s here. I couldn’t resist it.
