Kurt Froberg's Pedal Board.

Postby Sothall Mike » Wed Sep 26, 2018 7:29 pm

Hi everyone, at the risk of sounding a bit of a Numpty - can anyone shed any light on the possible order that Kurt links his pedalboard up. for those that have not seen the Youtube video of him talking to Ian Harper at this years Scarborough Shadows Music Festival, he uses a Hall and Collins, a Magicstomp [just for EQ], a Electroharmonics B9 Organ Pedal, and Pitch Fork, and a Joyo Acetone. Kurt does demo each pedal but that doesn't help with which order to link them up. Hope someone can help. Not had a lot of experience of pedalbords thus far.
Thanks in advance.

Mike Kilner.

Probably it could be guitar/ Hall and Collins/ effects/ magicstomp (eq) into joyo actone inthat order?
Why not give Kurt a PM, as I am sure he would be delighted to assist and confirm his set up order to you.

Here is a response from Kurt to me re the same question.

Hi Alan,
I have my pedal board like this; Line 6 wireless, EHX B9 (organ), EHX Pitch Fork, Magicstomp (eq), HCSE (echo), Joyo AC Tone to amp.
In Scarborough (2016) I had a different set up; Boss Blues Driver, Pitch Fork, HCSE, ARIAB to amp.
Kurt.

He uses flat wounds btw and his Vox AC15 is set, treble 0, bass 20% and cut 50%.
Hope this helps.

I'm glad you mentioned the Mk I ARiAB, Alan.

Kurt was one of the earliest (2005) adopters and always used it in his set-up.
