I just received one of these in the post today and after five minutes soon realised that I could do the job with it. I paid £39.99 which is a bargain what is virtually a miniature Roland Space Echo machine, but without reverb. This is a good piece of kit - recommended if you are like me and like to decide which patterns you'd like to use, rather than be dictated to.
I haven't got into it yet Roger but I intend to. It is an amazing piece of kit and as an owner of the Roland 201 & 101 back in the day, the likeness is uncanny, even if I had paid the going rate. I can't remember which one I used for guitar but the other was for vocals and they were good. The only problem was the tape sticking in winter when you went in a warm venue fro the freezing cold, as condensation built up on the metal parts. I used to carry a hairdryer.

Never tried it Dave , did a firmware update and looked at software , but decided I liked to use it by turning knobs on pedal. Not keen on reverb for live playing.
I think you can save settings to computer and load them in whilst pedal connected though.

Well I had a play with the software and time signatures of the echo tempo and it's good fun. The pedal works great without messing with the software too. It's good pedal and does Shads great.
