Zoom G3

How easy is it to programme one of these units to get a decent Shads echo. A friend is looking to purchase one and I've no experience of these.

You will need some knowledge of the timings and levels of the echo you want to imitate and a good ear !
There are patches however available for these via Ross Hall and others who have programmed them offer the patches.

Terry,
Dave Robinson made a good set that he was happy to share with anyone who wanted it. I think he lost it but got it back from someone he'd given it to. If he's still got it I'm sure he'd let you have it.

Morning Terry,
I have a G3X and a G5, both with Ross Hall's echoes. ( They have different patches. You can't use one set for both ).
I point that out because the question has been asked previously.
Dave Robinson did indeed programme some first class effects on his G3 unit.
Sadly, I lack Dave's skills, and patience in these matters.
Some time ago I got in touch with Ross Hall and ordered the patches for the G3X.
The whole operation was very easy. I was then, and am now, delighted with the results.
One important point to remember.
The patches Ross Hall supplies are for The Zoom G3 Zoom G3X and Zoom G5
He does not supply patches for The Zoom G3n G3Xn or G5n.
This subject has been covered previously also.

I'm waiting to hear back from someone who has one available which is already programmed.
Thanks for your help. My friend is on the very vulnerable list so is very isolated at the moment. The unit, if he can acquire one, will help keep him focussed.
