Sold some gear and bought one of these.

They are excellent EQ pedals , using mine in parametric mode with high and low shelving filters. Took me an hour to get into it, but eventually got it doing the Shads sounds and knocked up 4 presets to cover most things. Studio quality eq on your pedal board with presets and small footprint.

There is an app for it so can use phone or tablet or PC to edit, but all available on front of pedal.

How are you going to use it going forward? What types of presets are you creating? Where in the signal chain are you going to use it? Inquiring minds and all that. :D

I have had it a few weeks now and have been experimenting with the sounds for Shadows tunes. I created a patch for early sound , top boost type 2 sound eg Peace pipe and another slightly different to that for Wonderful Land . A further patch for later sounds like foot tapper , shindig , dance on and burns era sounds. All soubd great to me.

I did not use the on board limiter or noise gate , just used it in parametric mode with high and low shelving filters.

It is a very good eq pedal with presets. It can be fiddly working through menu system but once you have a sound you like, it is just a matter of selecting a preset with one button press. The pedal has a small footprint for pedal board space,

Overall very good if not expensive eq pedal , with lots of options available.

I used it trying the sounds live against the recordings and got great results though and found it more accurate than say a 10 band graphic.

My chain is guitar , echo, eq, compressor just like in studio. I find with clean sounds it works best that way I know others will use the eq first In chain , but in my experiments I went for studio flow. With overdrive I might have to put compressor first maybe, but I mostly play clean.

Another eq pedal worth looking at is the Boss EQ 200 with 4 memories, about £188

This does not have parametric or shelving filters but seems a graphic style pedal. The frequencies are different to the Caline or MXR though.

The source audio can change any frequency band to a different frequency too. Eg change a 400hz to say 350hz

It certainly sounds like a powerful tool. Would you care to share some of the EQ settings that you found worked best so far?

For Wonderful Land turn basx up more on amp around 10 o clock.

Reduce the low shelf filter to around 300hz and add a boost at 2khz around + 10 dB Q 2.0 .

Maybe reduce gain as well use you ears !
