New multi-effect

The DNAfx GiT from Harley-Benton (Thomann's brand). It allows 9 simultaneous effects, and could be programmed to do as much as the Alesis Q20 (8 simultaneous effects) for much less money, £128 : https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton ... 0%3D&glp=1

It seems that the latest technology has been welcomed by all the companies manufacturing this type of stuff and has caused a massive price drop throughout the industry.
I have tried numerous of these devices and all sound amazingly good for very little money. I discovered the Strymon Volante echo machine costing in excess of £400 back in February and loved it, only to find that there were several others that sounded pretty close too in the echo department and some at a tenth of the cost. I settled on my two Nux Tape Core boxes as they do the job I need, it's like having two Roland RE-201 machines. I guess that there must be a fairly new 'chip' that has become widely available which is making it possible for companies to sell these at very affordable prices. The only thing needed to achieve those coveted Shadows echoes is a bit of patience and skill, it's all in there if you look. :)

Harley Benton products are gaining something of a worldwide reputation for quality gear at very low prices. I've got one of their guitars on the way, with their 5 watt valve amp - which is apparently a take on the Fender Champ from the 50s.

I guess that if you can set 9 effects simustaneously, you can set four single echoes, add some EQ and others...

I've bought a few Harley Benton products including a OO size parlour guitar as well as a 'G' banjo and the quality has been good. I'm tempted to try this new device out of curiosity but I don't need another echo. ;)

Like Dave, I've bought my fair share of Harley Benton guitars and gizmo's .
I must say, it's one the brands that give the biggest bang for a buck indeed!
I'm good about stuff at the moment, I can start my own music shop.... that much toys I've stored in the house.
My wife said multiple times, "our house standing 2 inch lower as the next doors, because of the cr*p we both piled up indoors" ;)

Cheers Rob
