Vox VX1 Power Socket

Postby Ian Miller » 10 Oct 2020, 13:50

Hi All,

Some time ago I picked up a Vox VX1 amp which was in a shocking state. After a good clean up etc and fitting a temporary power socket to the pcb, I tested it and found to my surprise it functioned perfectly. So now I need to replace the temporary power socket to the correct type, but for the life of me, I can’t find one. It’s the same as the one that’s fitted to the Vox VT20X and probably other Vox amps as well. The same type is also fitted to many laptops.
I’ve scoured EBay and the like, but nothing..... Any help and suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Ian
