Custom shop pickups or Kinman pickups ?

Hi folks

Been looking at pickups since i was offered some Kinman pickups but i understand some are good for the earlier shadows tunes and some are not, the ones on offer are avn 63's and avn64b. But then i was looking at the custom shop fat 50's or the 54's which do people use and get the best results ?

Don't get me wrong i get a good sounds from my 84/85 CIJ strat thing there texas pups in there, but we all like to tinker for the sound lol.
