I own the Joyo AC Tone and it's excellent, though I don't need it as I DI from my Fender amp or use the JHS Colourbox these days.
It's a little expensive just to buy to check it out so I'll rely on someone who buys one to tell us about it.

I also have a Joyo AC Tone and agree with Dave, it's a great bit of kit. Steve Reynolds recommended it to me late last year, and I was able to pick one up from the 'Bay brand new for £21 delivered, so great value.
Not familiar with the Preamp House model though.

Looking at the list of amp sims (only 3 of which I'd want and some of the others I've never even heard of) and watching the demo, I'd say it's intended for the screaming noise brigade more than anyone else.

It looks like a good amp and cab sim pedal overall. Seems to cater for the more modern rock guitar sounds. For Shadows Vox Sounds The Joyo AC Tone is a better cheaper option. if you want all those other heavy sounds though , this might be an option, but not for me.

It's like a lot of modelling devices in that it's got amp models I'd never use. For a lot less money I've got a Joyo Actone and a Joyo American pedal. One gives me Vox tones and the other Fender tones. Both superb pedals.

Thanks all for your thoughts, Len is thee much of a difference between the sound of the joyo ac and the american sound verson?

The difference is that the Joyo American pedal replicates a Fender Amp and the Joyo AC replicates a Vox amp. Each have their own qualities.

Yes a realise that, i believe its the same circuit with about five components changed in the tone shaping circuit, i believe many have modified them to switch between ac and fender sounds and also added a switch to turn off the speaker simulator circuit...
